B rep PR! Almost had 5th rep of 5th set. Stalled out about three inches from lockout. Used wrist wraps for work sets. Right wrist was feeling puny.
Next WO do 315x8x3.

No WO today. Around 10 this morning, started getting pain in my upper right abdomen. Feels like I have a softball in there. Just a steady dull pain. A lot of belching, too. Hurt when I hit some potholes on the way home, no way I can OHP today. If it doesn't feel better in the morning am going to see my gp.

So, I ended up in the emergency room Thursday night. The pain became unbearable, and I knew I wasn't going to get any sleep. The ER doc was very nice, but when he walked through the door after my CT scan and said, "You know how doctors on TV shows dramatize the reveal of the results by saying 'I've never seen this before'...well I've never seen this before!" His interpretation of the CT scan indicated that I was having my second bout of appendicitis. Say what! Apparently, very rarely the surgeon will fail to remove the entire stump of the appendicitis. And that is what happened here. So then we're like, "well, who's the surgeon on call?" It turned out that it was LaFond, my arch-nemesis from the first appendicitis.
Let me do a quick recap of the first appendicitis: waited three days with pretty severe abdominal pain before going to the local hospital. They told me I had the flu and sent me home at 3am. I was the first patient at my family physician the next morning, because I knew something was wrong. As soon as he examined me he ordered a CT scan. They told me that my appendix was about an hour from rupturing and immediately put me in surgery. LaFond did the surgery. I went home two days later. Five days after that I was having abnormal pain again, and went to a different hospital and they worked me up. I had a collapsed right lung, pneumonia, and three abscesses in my gut. So I spent another three weeks in the hospital getting all that cleared up. Then I had to recoup at home. I cannot do justice to how aggravated we were with LaFond.
Anyhow, now they are saying that the CT scan was inconclusive, and they are thinking either stump appendicitis or diverticulitis. Treating it with heavy duty antibiotics, hoping that I can avoid surgery, but I will be here in the ol' hospital for another few days.
Did some light(er) work today, soundtrack want anything to stagnate.
So I got out of the hospital on Monday, final diagnosis was either stump appendicitis or diverticulitis. Doc has me out of work until an office visit next Monday, whereupon he will hopefully release me to full duty. We will also schedule another CT scan with full contrast at that time, which should give us a definitive diagnosis.
SQs felt pretty good today, felt a little abdominal soreness after both sets, but nothing to worry about. No soreness at all during OHP, and no soreness now, an hour after WO.
Trying to get back into it. Focus is going to be weight loss. Need to make that a priority. Have faced up to the fact that I can't lose weight when focusing on hitting PRs. May be a while before I SQ or DL, trying to let right groin area heal.
Gonna run a mini-LP on upper body stuff. May add in some sled pulls and such in a week or two.
