    Thinking hard about a deload week.

    Fifth rep of first set on B went to the safeties. Two causes, shitty recovery this weekend, and sets have been very grindy past few weeks. Think I will go with a top set and three back-offs at 8-10% deload.

    Also, left shoulder feels like shit, and I think I have an abcess in the top incision from my appendix removal from earlier in the year. Will set up an appointment tomorrow to have it (the abcess) looked at.

    So the doc said that I had a semi-permanent stitch put in that top incision, and it was getting irritated and inflamed. He said it will dissolve within a year. Guess I'll wait it out.

    Chinz PR! Had to do chinz on power rack today, so did all 30 at BW! Pretty cool. Will see if that works next week when I'm back to full workouts. Also, last reps of last three sets were kind of 3/4 reps, but, since the bar floats under, and I mean directly under, my chin when I press, I'm thinking my limb length is hurting me with getting chinz reps.

    That deload week was ON TIME. SQs felt good and solid, weight was heavy but no one rep was a true grinder. Bar speed did slow a little on the last rep, but pushed through no problem.

    B was a bit rough. Right heel slipped on last rep at 252.5, but managed to hold it together and got the rep.

    Repeat 82.5, last three reps were massive cheats. The last rep was basically a giant swing rep with mucho hip thrust.

    What a day! It's always great to get home from work and head out to the garage, but especially on days like today. I'm glad to have an outlet for my angst and anger. It's even better to come back inside feeling renewed and seeing my wife and child.
