    Recovery Day

    Squat... waitaminute, I'm supposed to squat 80% of Monday's work weight?


    Squat 45x5x2, 135x5, 185x2,
    215x5x2

    A little slow and sore at first

    Overhead press 45x5x2, 95x5, 115x1,
    125x5x3

    Chin ups x5, 4x4, 3x2

    In between chin sets I did elliptical intervals in ~5min segments.

    Just assumed 80% of max or of Friday's squat, I guess.

    Thanks! I feel like I'll need it a few weeks from now! And that Barilla thing was kinda nuts, I thought, though I almost don't dare to say that in public. I just mean a journalist asks an old Italian guy why he isn't advertising with pictures of gay couples, in a world where 99% of companies don't advertise with gay couples, that's a bit of a trap, and different than actually funneling money into anti-gay lobbying efforts. That's my understanding. But to each his own boycotts.

    First off, great log title.

    Second, great T-shirt. I've consumed enough bottles of that stuff that I probably should have a T-shirt too. I've tried other srirachas, but there is only one true Sriracha, from the Huy Fong Food Company. Works on just about everything.

    I suck, I didn't even wear a costume to the gym. The wife and I are being the X-Files and I didn't think a boxy suit and fat nineties tie were squat compatible.

    Intensity Day

    Bro doing bouncy RDLs off up mats in my rack, like some kind of creepy nightmarish jack in the box, so:

    Bench 45x10, 95x5, 135x3, 175x1,
    195x3,
    coulda done more...how can I tie this into Halloween...eh, I got nothing
    195x2

    Squat 45x5x2, 135x5, 205x3, 275x1, 300x5

    I picked a conservative weight to start this week. Still felt the icy black claws of weakness pulling me back down into the gaping abyss.

    Hang cleans 45, 65 lbs,
    Power cleans 95 x 3 x 5 with form so bad it was......spooky

    Chins 3x4, 2x1
