    I find it easier to set my back on snatch grip deads than regular deads. There's more room.

    Squats 030: 120 kg*5*3 (Sleeves but no belt. Narrower stance with toes more forward because of very tight/pretty sore groin. @7,5 on the last set.)

    Bench press: 70 kg*8*3 (@8 on the last set. Ring finger on the rings. Both my shoulders hurt at the moment... Why do I feel like an old man?)

    Chins: 34 reps @7 minutes

    That is true! Even if I don't find that it is as easy to keep the back set on SGDL, even if it is easier to actually set it.

    Squats: 150 kg*1 @too light (2 sec pause), 160 kg*1 @6,5, 170 kg*1 @8,5 (I decided to work up to a heavy-ish single to test the waters, since there is a meet I might compete in on Saturday. However, this depends on how my groin and shoulders feel, since they have been quite achey since last week sometime.)



    Bench press: 80 kg*5*3 (This felt better than I thought.)

    Random stuff.

    And, Lasse, I wouldn't say that it is good yet, but it has definitely improved over this last month. I hope to start Jordan's and Austin's The Bridge program next week, and I hope that the back will hold up. I have slowly started to stress it by doing a linear progression these past 3-4 weeks, with squats and deadlifts every other workout, and it has continued to feel good. But I will not "ropa hej" just yet!

    Last Saturday was this year's third meet. I sure haven't had a productive year, but I am at least finally starting to maybe see the light at the end of the tunnel. Hopefully. I went 8/9 with no missed lifts, but I decided to not do my third deadlift attempt, since the back started to feel pretty beat up and I didn't want to risk anything. But I am very happy with how it went and is very pleased with getting 180 kg for my third squat, which was a real grinder but felt powerful and stable.

    Squats: 150, 165, 180 kg

    Third squat:


    Bench press: 95, 100, 102,5 kg

    Deadlifts: 160, 175 kg

    Thank you! And yes, it feels like a smart thing to think, but it is way harder to actually do when standing there on the platform wanting to perform.
