Thanks, Cody. Physically I feel much better training only twice per week. I have been making steady progress since adopting that schedule back in October.

Hey Dr. P. Can't wait for your meet write-up and (hopefully) videos. It was good to see you and inspiring to watch all 9 of your picture-perfect lifts.

It has been a long time since I have logged my training. I am starting back up in the hopes of regularly updating this log once per week. After discontinuing my log here, I resumed logging in the competitive lifter's forum, but haven't logged over there in about a year or so either.

    John Petrizzo's Training Log

I am going to pick back up with this log since I haven't competed since August of 2019 and don't have any immediate plans to do so. In October, my wife and I had son, and since that time I have been running a pretty abbreviated training program based off of an old program that Andy gave me years back. You can read more about it below:

BSC Client John Petrizzo - Case Study, Part I - Andy Baker

I basically am training twice per week just working up to a single top set in all of the lifts and doing two additional conditioning/assistance days. The goal is to get in and out of the gym in 45-60 minutes on my lifting days and under 30 minutes on my conditioning days. So far, it is going better than I anticipated, so I thought if I started logging my sessions again, maybe it would help some people who also are short on time for training.

    Congratulations on the new baby.
Your program sure looks like a Dr.Ken High Intensity workout.
