    Squats:
    Warmup:
    45x10
    45x5
    95x5
    135x3
    175x1

    Work:
    195x5
    195x4+f
    175x5

Well, it looks like taking a 20-pound jump at this point was inadvisable.

    Press:
    Warmup:
    45x10
    45x5
    55x5
    65x3
    75x1

    Work:
    80x5
    80x5
    80x5

    Deadlift:
    Warmup:
    135x5
    225x3
    255x1

    Work:
    275x2+f
    225x5

Maybe it's time to stop doing deadlifts every workout.

HLM for deadlifts only? Given that I haven't run out an LP on the other lifts, I wouldn't want to do a general HLM yet.

i would do deads every day if i could, but i just can't recover. now i'm only doing them once a week on my light squat day...but getting tempted to do some more on my medium day as well. twice a week can't hurt, right?

There's only one way to find out. ;-)

    Squats:
    Warmup:
    45x10
    45x5
    95x5
    135x3
    165x1

    Work:
    185x5
    185x5
    185x5

    Press:
    Warmup:
    45x10
    45x5
    55x5
    65x3
    75x1

    Work:
    90x4
    90x4
    90x4

This was supposed to be 90x5x3, but I knew on the fourth rep of that first set that number five wasn't going to go. I'll retry 90 on Friday and then move to 2.5 pound jumps next week.

I also played around a bit with power cleans. I started doing these a couple of years ago, but they fell to the wayside at some point. I figured I'd give them another try, given that I'm doing an LP.

    90x4+f

I also worked on power cleans some. My main problem is the catch -- I'm not bringing my elbows up fast enough, so the bar keeps hitting me in the sternum. I managed to get it right on a couple of reps, so there's hope.

    Squats:
    Warmup:
    45x15
    45x5
    95x5
    135x3
    185x1

    Work:

    Warmup:
    45x10
    45x5
    55x5
    65x3
    85x1

    Work:
    90x5
    90x5
    90x5

After three attempts, I made 90x5x3. I'll go to 2.5-pound jumps from here.

    Power clean:
    65x3
    85x3
    65x3
    65x3
    65x3

I intended to do 85x3x5, but I failed to rack the first rep of my second set at 85 (no video here), so I decided to drop back down to 65 for a more conservative start. It probably won't hurt to get some more practice before the weights get "heavy".
