    After my failure on the third set, i unloaded/reloaded and did another single to finish off the set. I'm going to go back to doing 2 set s at the working weight and a backoff set at -15 pounds.

    I think I just lost focus on the second set. I was determined to get my reps in, though.

    Incline:

    Dips:

    I was planning on 3x7. I might have gotten 7 on that first set if I'd rested any between CGBP and dips.

    Default 2018/10/12 -- light squats, heavy deadlifts

    Deadlifts:

    315x5

    I'm starting to see a pattern here. For the last couple of months, it seems that do well one week but fail the next week. Well, except that two weeks ago, I did 380x3 and then 380x5 last week. I'm considering changing my deadlift programming to alternating 3's and 5's, where I do the same weight for those two weeks and then go up five pounds for the next set of 3's. So next week, I would do 385x3 and follow it with 385x5 the following week.
