    Getting over a cold has always been a bitch. Chest colds especially. The recovery seems to be long and weak.

    Fortunately, this one wasn't a chest cold. Unfortunately, it seems to have come along with what might be a sinus infection. I'm not sure, as I've never had one, but I've had a weird headache most of the week that seems to be slowly going away.

    It's been a month or so since I've done a successful lift above 325, so I'm backing off a bit to build up to it again.

    Avg HR: 149
    Max HR: 171

    Default 2018/12/11 -- heavy squats, light deadlifts

    Squats:
    365x3 -- PR
    365x1+f
    365x1

    On the third rep of the first set, I wasn't fighting to get it up as much as to keep it balanced -- the bar came a little forward. This may have doomed the next set.

    I didn't rest after the failure, just unloaded, reracked, and reloaded the bar. I was hoping to get the 2 that I missed, but that wasn't happening.

    2 minute cooldown
    Avg HR: 153
    Max HR: 180

    On the last one, I kept going to see if I could get my heart rate up to 180. I didn't collapse in utter exhaustion after this, so maybe I can get it higher.

    I think I took the "Do your fives" part of the t-shirt the wrong way. Sure, 3+1+1 = 5, but I don't think that's what it meant.
