Bench press:
247.5x2+f -- 2-rep PR
247.5x1+f
247.5x1
247.5xf
A mixed bag today. I did manage a rep PR, but there was way too much failure going on. I may have shot myself in the foot on the last rep -- I cut my rest short by a couple of minutes. The stress from the earlier failed reps may have cost me some, too.
Oh, well, I'm close to finishing out this run, anyway.
Press:
132.5x5
132.5x5
132.5x5
132.5x4
132.5x4 +2
I gave myself about two minutes rest (a slow count to 60) before doing the final two reps to get my volume in.
Press:
147.5x3 -- 3-rep PR
147.5x2 +1
I waited about one minute before doing the +1.
Bench press:
227.5x4
227.5x4
227.5x4
227.5x4
227.5x4
227.5x4
I was using a couple of weights on the floor to push against with my feet. Not an ideal solution, and not something I'd use as a permanent solution, but it helped.

175.5 is studly as ALL get out
Squats:
305x5
305x5
305x5
I'm going to give the rotating-rep-ranges idea another go for squats. Next week will be 325x3x3, then 345x1x3, then add 5 for another cycle. I won't be hitting any PR's for a while, but I did pretty well by this the last time.
SLDL:
280x8x2
Chin-ups:
10-minute EMOM: 7x4 + 3x3
sounds like a good plan to build a solid base
I stuck this into a spreadsheet, and I won't be hitting any PR's until October, and that's assuming everything goes smoothly until then, which it won't.
I'm tempted to try a different set of rotating rep ranges, 8/5/2. The downside to this would be doing sets of 8, and when I see this in other logs, people absolutely hate 8's week. The upside to this is that I would get to start hitting 8-rep PR's immediately, given that I've never done sets of 8. Always look on the bright side!
