5 days out to meet. Cutting Carb intake by 50g per day. Water cut starts tomorrow. Should be around 201-202 for weigh-in on Sunday which would be good as it would match weight from my last comp.
Will hit final lifts tomorrow just to singles of my openers; 335; 242.5; 430. Excited to be here again.

Started water cut yesterday with 200 oz. Will do another 200 oz today, 100 on Friday and 20 on Saturday. All salt out of diet for Friday/Saturday as well.

100 ozs water today with minimal/no salt. Anxious. Will do some light lifts today just to work through the motions, think about form.

Meet overall was meh. Didn't really have good feelz throughout. Don't know what it was. Sleep was good, food was good, prep leading up felt good. Weighed in at 202. Weigh ins were 30 minutes late and meet start time was an hour later than planned. Here is how it went;
Squat opened @ 152.5 (335) per plan; 3 whites felt like a 7. Went to 162.5 (357.5) per plan; 3 Whites Felt like an 8. 3rd @ 170 (373.6) which is a 7lb PR. 2 reds 1 white on height; Felt like a 9. I thought it was deep enough. Hard to tell from the front angle vid. Wife said front judge was the one who gave the white. This got in my head a bit but not too badly.
Bench opened per plan @ 110 (242.5) 3 whites felt between a 7 & 8 so went with A plan; 2nd @ 117.5 (262); 3 whites but felt like a 9. 3rd called for 122.5 (270); Missed. DOA this weight was not going up today. All three benches were missing something, they all felt heavy. I'm thinking I may need to get a 29mm bar to bench with at home as the feelz are very different.
At this point I was bummed that I wasn't close to the 375/275 goal. I relaxed and set out to PR on the DL.
Opened per plan @ 195 (430); 2 whites 1 red (knees not locked, socks touching knee sleeves). Felt like a 7 so kept with plan A. 2nd @ 207.5 (457.5 a 2.5lb PR); 3 whites felt like an 8.5. Rounds were moving really fast so I called the audible of round 3 plan b @ 210 (462.5). 3 Whites for a 5lb PR over round 2. If the rounds had been going a bit slower I would have called the 475, but a 20 lb PR on this day seemed low probability.
In hindsight I'm pretty pleased. I just have to move past an off day on bench.
