A little under the weather again but powering through. With some work obligations this week I had to push presses up a day which is always tough not having a recovery day after pulls.

Missed squat session on 12/16 and HIIT on 12/17 (sick and left for vacation). So it's been almost 2 weeks without lifting - back at it now:

Awful. Couldn't come close to budging 2nd rep off the floor for first 2 sets. 3rd set wasn't close to making the rep. Gonna get my volume and 5's in and hopefully get the groove back and crush this weight next cycle

Should have been 2 sets of 4 but I was so winded. It was a night session and had sleeping kids above the garage so I had to lower the bar softly which makes paused deadlifts very tough apparently.

Supposed to be 290x2x3. Only was able to work up to my last warm-up; having stomach issues and left groin pain is back with a vengeance.

Thought paused might be ok but that left groin pain was the worst it's been in a while. The never ending tweak. Fuck!

Deadlift

Technically should have gone up to 315 this week, but I have a whole host of excuses as to why I kept the weight the same:
-Missed a week of deadlifts for vacation
-First session back (doubles) was a massive fail. Felt very weak off the floor
-Did a boatload of shoveling yesterday and was still sore
-Had to do this session at night with sleeping kids above the garage which means putting the bar down gently, which absolutely sucks for volume day
Had serious trouble breathing, but the bar moved fine. I'll +10 it for the next volume week.
