Failed (not even close) attempts at 2nd reps on all 3 successful singles. Groove was off (a pattern lately). After the failed rep I took off my weightlifting shoes and went barefoot to see if that helps from losing reps forward. Yesterday I ordered a pair of flat Sabo Deadlifting shoes so I'm going to try those for pressing as well.

First time wearing my new Sabo deadlift flats. Have always benched in my squat shoes. Felt weird at first but I guess I adjusted quickly as this was a 5RM and managed to complete all 3 sets! First 2 actually moved well....last set the last rep was a full 6-8 second grind.

First time pulling in my new Sabo's. Not nearly as good of quality a shoe as my Rogue Do-Wins, but definitely better than barefoot and I'm loving pulling without the raised heel. Top set moved pretty well.

Basketball
Instead of the airdyne I played some hoops for the first time in a while. Two games of 2v2 and a game of 21. I've surprisingly still got some game, but hurt my right achilles pretty bad on a move to the basket. Too old for this shit clearly, but this was some good conditioning

Pressed in my new Sabo's (first time in flats), and the groove felt noticeably better than it has been recently. Second set was the best and moved fast, last 2 sets were a little grind.
