188.8 - pr low...someone asplain how increasing carbs/cals = bw trending downward!?!? Not actually worried, gonna keep slowly increasing the food intake as weights get more challenging

    Squat
    +5 210x3x5
Beltless. No grinders, but felt like I was actually squatting...may belt up for 215.

    Press
    100x3x5
Very small reset to start LP. Very, very easy...will see how long I can get away with 2.5lb jumps before micro micro loading.

    Chins
    +10 lbs 3x5
Not too challenging...probably a good starting spot for weighted LP. Ditto press load increases.

Since weight training is anaerobic, I believe carbs are the fuel of choice. Maybe a small increase in fat macros would bump up a bodyweight gain.

    ^^good call.

190.0 - woke up, drank some water, nearly died by doing:

    Airdyne
    7 X 20:140
Airdyne for sale. Who wants it? Seriously, no more Airdyne without food first.

189.0 - ate pretty ridiculous yesterday, really need to get this trending upward. I'm expecting to just wake up one day soon and be 193. More milk and burritos incoming

    Squat
    +5 215x3x5 Squat 215x5 - YouTube
Beltless. Had to work but no grinders. Filmed a bunch from behind to work on getting bar centered and not letting left half of bar sag down. Groin aggravation = minor.

    Bench
    +5 165x3x5
Had to work but no grinders. Definitely more difficult than anticipated. Don't think I rested enough before second set so I corrected that (6m) and 3rd set was easier.

    Deadlift
    +10 295x5
Warmups to 275x1 all doh. Workset right hand supinated and easy. 5th rep required a push of effort but I'm sure bar speed was pretty good.

Still had energy and feeling good so threw in a quick set of bw chin ups for good measure and ended up:

    Chins
    bw X 10
PR by 2 reps, lol. All strict dead hang.

    I guess so - whatever's on the wife's playlist. It's her iPod.

Wish I had your problem, I gain weight too easily. You are putting in some good work.

I'm the same way, which is why I'm perplexed. Not concerned, because I love to eat and have no problem cranking up the cals, just perplexed. Must be burning a lot more calories with 2x/wk Airdyne than I think.

    Squat
    +5 220x3x5
First 2 beltless but somewhat difficult. 10th was grindy enough to put on the belt for 3rd set which made it better.

    Press
    +2.5 102.5x3x5
    Solid. Another +2.5 for sure.

    Chins
    +2.5 3x5 w/ +12.5 lbs
    Maybe I'll do a +1.25 next.
