Workouts are starting to get so damned long and grindy - I usually can't get through them now before my son wakes up. I think I need a major shakeup in programming. I'm probably going to buy either andy's KSC 8/5/2 power building (1 big lift a day I think) or his garage gym warrior program to start the following week. Any suggestions for 1 or the other?

245x2x3 First set was tough and felt a little off especially on the descent again, @8.5. 2nd set, I shut my brain off and just let the squat flow, felt so much better, @6.5. Hopefully I can replicate that for my next heavy squat. Planning on buying Baker's KSC power building program to start next week.
Deadlift
+5 345x3, 275x5 beltless, 245x5 beltless and doh Triple ties my 3rm and was @9.5 but closer to 10 than 9. My grip work set is just starting to get a little tough to hang onto. May only have another 5 lb jump or 2 before I start microloading that.

Maybe just say fuck it and really start being disgusting. Whole milk, ice cream tubs, cookies, fast food burgers....I can verify, works like a charm.

213.6 - am definitely eating fairly dirty...5 slices of pizza in there yesterday.
Spent almost 10 hours on the road yesterday, didn't get a lot of sleep, and didn't know what to expect today

225x1 PR Bench 225 - YouTube 205 flew, 215 was pretty fast, so I decided to go for 2 plates. Huge 19.8 lb PR and a membership in the 2 plate club!!!!! Actual weight on the bar = 227.8 lb.

I purchased Andy's KSC power building program but it's a lot of material so I'm going to try to find the time this week to read it and start some version of it next week. For this week, I'm just going to try to establish some 1rm's and keep overall volume pretty low so I'm not too beat up starting the new program.

255x1, 285x1, 305xF 285 was 9.5 but closer to 10 than 9. 305 I maybe moved 1/4 inch....just buried me. So, to summarize, at about 12 lb higher bw I've lost 15 lb off my squat. Hopefully I can make something happen with Andys program.

135x1, 140x1, 145xf, 142.5xf 35 and 40 were heavy but moved decent. Anything higher would have been a PR. Both fails made it to sticking point at forehead and just wouldn't go through.

+5 365x1, 250x5 beltless and doh @10. Deadlifted first for a change and felt pretty good doing it that way. Skipped first backoff set to be as fresh as possible starting new program next week. Finished reading KSC powerbuilding just have to set it up and figure out my assistance lifts.

225x2x5 First set hard after pulls, @8.5. Rested 5m and dialed in for the second set, @7.5.
