140x1, 125x4, 110x8 Press is such a strange beast. I failed my second warmup at 125 and figured I just didn't have it today (been struggling bad with seasonal allergies last few days). Gave 135 a shot and got it, heavy but decent. 140 was fairly grindy and all I had in the tank today but I'm happy to salvage and have a decent pressing day.
Deadlift
355x3, 300x5 My deadlift seems to really enjoy a cycle, so I decided to go for a triple today, having set a 5rm last week and a 1rm the week before that. This was a 3rm by about 10-15 lb I believe. Next week I'll go for another 1rm @390.

Came down with a cold the night of my last session, could explain why press was down a few lb.
Had my best night of sleep in a looooooooong time. Basically 8 hours with like 2 short wake ups. No caffeine today tho prior to lifting :/

85 was smooth so I decided to go for the PR....felt like I was prettt damn close to getting it thru the stick point and being able to grind it out, but it wasn't quite there today. Also, I did about 4 hours of mulching (loading and unloading the bags first too) and yard work yesterday, and a little more digging today, so that could be a factor.
Bench:
220x1, 195x3, 175x5
220 moved slow but not terrible. Ran out of time to try anyThing heavier and did the backoffs on no rest other than plate loading of course.

145xF, 140x1, 125x3, 110x7 Barely grinded out 40, 45 failed at forehead...not quite full rest periods for backoffs, had to pick up son from school. Definitely losing a little strength here, have to find a way to get in more freq/volume.

310x1 PR, 315x1 PRSquat 315 - YouTube , 250x8 Caffeine. Loads of carbs, feeling great today...everything flew thru 285 so went for the Pr and it wasn't even grindy...went back and forth between getting high quality backoff work vs. 3 wheels and finally decided yolo. If it's there today, take it...hit it fairly smooth actually. Depth check?

140x1, 145xF, 125x4, 112.5x7 140 very hard...figured I didn't have much of a shot at 45, tried it anyway, and failed miserably. Had at least a rep in the tank at 25. Small chance I lost count on 112 and did 8.
