Kudos on the SQ 5rm PR. Ascending sets on SQ don't work as well for me as they do for you.

^^^Would love to find a good run out of it and drive my 5rm to 300-315, would both shock me and make me incredibly happy

Felt excellent. Put forth a big time effort to maintain sprints around 92 rpm, occasionally touching 93 or 91.

Every set was a killer. 25th rep may have been redlighted due to bad pausing and/or layback.

Going for a 5rm. Knew when I pulled 315x1 I probably wouldn't have it - first time that's felt hard in a while - but I gave it my best shot anyway. 4th rep only moved an inch or 2. That's 2 weeks in a row failing after pulling those 2 PR singles. Not sure if my performance has dropped because of that, or slight weight loss, or something else. All my rep ranges were at the point of being very difficult already. I'll probably try my 365 triple one more time next week, and if I don't get it, I'll have to come up with a new plan for this lift I think.

Despite my recent deadlift struggle my squat seems to be on a little roll.

3 weeks of ascending 5's and 3 5rm's for me. Need a bigger sample size to say for sure this works okay for me but I'm really happy with this little run I'm on. I lost the 5th rep forward a little but was able to bring it back. Depth looked very close on reps 1, 4, and 5; open to any critiques. I felt so beat after these - crazy respect to anyone who has squatted 5x5 across!.

Quite challenging, but no crazy 5+ second grinders.

Didn't feel great today - legs were dead from squats yesterday. Gritted my teeth though and got through it, managed 89-92rpm for final 4 sprints.

Couple rest days and I hope like hell to get my deadlift back on track this week!

No weight today scale needs calibration

Slept 9.5 hr with a few wake ups and feel like a new man. Sleep had been so awful I was basically falling asleep standing up throughout the day for like a week straight....could barely sit down without dozing off. Told the wife a little after 8 last night I was hitting the sack.

Felt stronger than 120 and 121.5. Only rested 4-5m until the 3rd set got a little tougher. Then I rested longer and last 2 sets were tough. Lost reps 5 and 10 out in front but they still weren't that hard. Had to really focus on keeping the bar back on the last reps of last 3 sets.

    Deadlift
    280x8x3
Decided that even I could redeem myself for the last 2 weeks of failing and grind out 345x5 I was basically against a wall anyway. All rep ranges of this little 5/3/1 cycle I was on for pulls had become grindiests. Decided I'll give 8/5/2 sets across another run since that wAs working so well before baby #2. Gonna start all my weights +5 from where I left off in Feb. Noted in my log that 275x8x3 had become very hard. These weren't easy, but I had room in the tank. Plus, my previous cycle the barbell lift was always the first lift of the day. So I'm definitely happy with these considering they came after 5x5 press.

First time doing these weighted so started conservative. Wanted to start at 10x3 but I was shot from all the barbell stuff. Plan is to run these up as high as I can eventually cycling down to 5x3 I suppose.

A bunch of people seemed to think my 275x5 set last week was an inch high, so I took these all an inch lower and they were harder. 265 was a grind and the 3rd rep fail barely made it out of the hole at 75. Not sure if if the inch made that big a difference, or it's bc I covered for someone at work last night and slept extra shitty, and ate nothing this morning before lifting other than a bowl of Cheerios, Gatorade, and coffee. Hopefully just an off week, il try to repeat it next week.

A little redemption here. This is 2.5 lb shy of my 5rm, which I believe was a true blue 5rm done at a few lb higher bw. These were difficult, but the only set that felt like an actual 5rm was the 5th.
