    +5 from where I left off 5x3 across in Feb. First set mixed @8. 2nd set strapped @6.5 (son woke up before this set so I could slam the weights down, BIG help. 3rd set w/ straps on not enough rest @9. I'll take a +10 here in 3 weeks. Wanted to start conservative to get reaccustomed to sets across.

    214.4 - ate a tone yesterday to get ready for squats , then only slept 4ish hours I think . Was about to nap since I couldn't keep my eyes open and just train tomorrow instead, but I made a last second change of heart and went for it.

    Squat
    230,240,250,260x5
    Train wreck. Went an inch deeper than I had been to ensure depth but it came at the expense of knee slide and looseness. I just couldn't get them feeling right today. Then got a nice little quad strain after 250, went for 260 anyway, it didn't bother me at all but it was a max effort to complete the set so I scrapped it there. Felt the quad for a few hours after when trying to bench, go up stairs, stand up, etc. May have just been a cramp as it seems to be better now about 7 hours after squatting.

    Since deads next week are 8x3, I might just throw the squat on 8/5/2 also and pick up where I left off in Feb, but making sure I'm hitting depth without a flicker of doubt.

    Ties a 5rm, and I couldn't get full strength on leg drive due to quad cramp, so I'm quite happy with this. First 2 sets were @9ish, next 2@9.5ish, 5th set was a legit @10.

    Scattered throughout the evening with long rest periods.

    Did not feel great today. This was +5 from where I left off in Feb. , which was easy. 320x5x3 and 280x8x3 were both easy the past 2 weeks, and so I was fully expecting to crush this easily, but it was the opposite. First set mixed felt @10. Next 2 strapped were a little better @9.5's. I wanted to do +10's here for a while, but we'll have to see how 290 and 330 go.

    Throwing squat back on 8/5/2. Picked this up +5 from where I left off in Feb. Felt horrible because they were sets of 8 in a really hot garage, but my form was drastically improved from last week and the 24th rep moved well, so I probably need to do a +10 in 3 weeks.

    +2.5 197.5x5x3, x3, x5. 235xF
    Ok, so this weight is a 5rm which is nice. The actual weight on the bar was 200.5 so that was fun. The first set was a pure @10 grind. Next 2 sets were a little better. 4th set I un-racked and pinched my skin a little. Should have re-racked it right there and re-gripped, but I stubbornly went for it and misgrooved all 3 reps before failing the 4th. 5th set was @10 but not as long a grind as the first set. Decided to try to make up the for the 4th set by going for a 1rm...was wishful thinking based on how I tired I was at that point. I actually grinded against it for 2-3 seconds thinking I might get it to go, but never got it past the 3-4 inch mark off my chest.

    1st flew. Next 3 were tough, and the 5th set moved almost as well as the first.

    Deadlift
    +10 290x8x3
    1st set mixed grip @7. Next set strapped @9 and third set strapped @9.5. Fast off the floor but fatigued quads made them tough to lock out. Took long rests, just tough in the hot garage.

    Re-established 5x3 with a +5 from where I left it off in Feb. These were hard, but no legitimate grinding.

    +2.5 200x5x4, x4
    Another 5rm and I got it four times! All 5 sets were @10 with the second set being the only one that the 5th rep wasn't an all out multi second fight.

    May try for chins later I'll edit if I get to them; otherwise hopefully tomorrow before airdyne.
