    Deadlift

    Got dizzy after 1st set. Came extremely close to blacking out after 2nd set; actually surprised I didn't. So I split the last set into 2 sets of 4 as to remain conscience.


    I'll incorporate paused squats next week after 5's deadlift. Need to re-adapt to both 8s and sets across.

    First time doing these I'm forever. Didn't want to go too crazy and give myself crippling calf DOMS tomorrow incase I decide to walk the dog on the beach or something....need my calves to get through the sand

    So I have to work Weds this week which would mean deadlifting at night with sleeping kids and a slow descent. Elected to pull today instead (only 36 hours rest from squats) and move bench until tomorrow night. Kids have been waking up early since the clock change over the weekend and I've been up since 4:30...

    Hard work bc of above mentioned factors...mixed grip the first set which felt a little weird bc i haven't done it in so long but I plan on doing comp in spring so I wanted to re-introduce it. No shoulder pain!

    Up since 4a. Lifting around 7:45p - Did get to bed around 8:30p though and only woken up a couple times. Not feeling well but I think it's just allergies.
