Started late and didn't have the motivation nor energy to pull heavy so I did what would be considered a medium squat. Pulled a single last 3 weeks straight anyway.

Wasn't really planning on a PR today so I didn't load the 3rd plate, hence the odd number, but 295 and 315 moved well enough that I went for it.

Just barely grinded it out. Really happy! Both reps at 140 were fast, was not expecting 3rd to fail at all.
Deadlift
375x1, 400xF, 337.5x4, 300x7
Unexpected 15ish min break before trying 400 and probably got cold. Not sure I would have had it anyway, 375 was real hard.

Youngest has sick for a while now, on his 3rd antibiotic, poor little guy. Wife and I are exhausted. Didn't wanna go for 1rms again, decided to just do heavy singles so the backoff rep ranges would get varied a little and I'd get more volume. Really happy with the work I got in today.

Single was hard but not a grinder. Backoffs were @8.5 and @9.5 respectively.
Bench
235x1, 210x4, 190x8
Single grindy but not the slowest ever. Backoffs were @9.5's.

So tired I could barely see straight, really close to going to up to bed at 8 instead of into the garage

Not bad, but definitely not a PR day.

Wanted to set a 5rm, but I think I was screwed from setting the bar down so softly. Wife complained last week about shaking the house with the kids sleeping when I already thought I was lowering the bar really gently.

After banging out 285x4 as a backoff last week with room in the tank, I thought I'd get frisky and go for a +25 lb 5rm. Well, dumb idea, 3rd rep found the safeties. Backoffs didn't feel very good either, didn't have it today.
Bench
225x1, 245xF, 205x4, 185x7
225 absolutely flew, so I thought for sure I'd be good for the +2.5 PR. Fought it for a good 3-4 seconds but it wouldn't budge. Backoffs not great either.

Sleep has not been good, but more importantly, youngest just came down last night with his 4th ear infection in 5 weeks. Have an appointment with an ENT later this month. It's been a little rough.

Also think my body has been fighting off a little stomach bug since the weekend so wondering if that sapped a little of my strength as well....
