Another random check in.

Workouts were taking too long, so we migrated to a 4 day TM split, with dual focus on Bench & Press. Basically an 1x5 ID each day and a 5x5 VD each day (3x5 lighter DLs). then some Curls and rows thrown in for some extra volume.

At or within 5lb of 5RM PR Weights for all lifts....sometimes takes a few ID attempts (over 2 to 3 weeks) to get a new 5RM. But my numbers are getting more respectable...

This is week 2:

Day 1:
Squat ID - 310x5 (5RM PR tie)
DL - 330x5x3 (Probably a volume PR...not sure)

Day 2:
Press ID - 180x5 attempted, 180x4 (a 4RM PR...and 1 rep better than last week)
Bench VD - 232.5x5x5 (probably a volume PR...not sure as I haven't done 5x5 for a LONG time..I got up to 257.5x5x4...but never 5x5)
Curls

Day 3:
DL ID - 385x5 prescribed, got 385x3,1 (385X5 would have been a 5RM PR tie)...this was coming off of a business trip with little sleep and an extra 3 day break...I think I detrained a bit...but should get it next week
Squat VD - 280x5x5

Day 4 - Today or tomorrow
Bench ID - 257.5x5 planned (260x5 is my 5RM PR)
Press VD - 157.5x5x5
Rows - 220x8x3

And, I will be competing in the Chicago Fall Classic....really looking for a 500lb DL, a 210+lb Press, and although it is a big stretch...a 400lb Squat...(360 is my PR)...we'll see on that one
