    Age: 30
    Height: 6'3"
    BW: 215

    Ran SS for around a year. Joined the military during that time so have had to reset. Currently in tech school and trying TM but the volume days are killing me with all the marching and group pt. Switching to Jordan's intermediate plan on the Barbell Medicine website. Somewhat familiar with RPE's but could use some advice on progressing linearly through the program. Training has been consistent, diet and sleep not so much.

    Current #'s all recent 1RM:
    Bench 280
    Squat 375
    Deadlift 420
    Press....Poverty

    Wish me luck and any advice is greatly appreciated.

    I have no special advice for military situations.
    But, for busy people in general, it's important not to let the perfect be the enemy of the good.

    If you only have 30 minutes instead of 60 and are tempted to scrap your workout, thinking you don't have enough time, don't.
    Get in, if you can, and at least get your 3x5 squats.
    Even though it's not ideal, the difference between nothing and something is enormous.

    Competition Squat 355 x 1 @ RPE 8, 295 x 5 @ RPE 8 x 3 sets
    2-count Paused Bench 215 x 4 @ RPE 8 x 4 sets
    RDL 285 x 7 @ RPE 8 x 3 sets

    Wow, realized how garbage my bench is without the TNG oomph. First time doing heavy RDL's, used straps, unsure if I should be doing that. Squats felt good. More to come.

    Comp Bench 250 x 1 @ RPE 8; 215 x 5 @ RPE 8 x 4 sets
    2-count Paused Squats 275 x 4 @ RPE 8.5 x 4 sets
    Press 115 x 7 @RPE 7.5 x 3 sets

    Legs felt good. Learning how to bench without TNG is ego-deflating as hell. The program calls for front squats in the next session. Wondering if I should just substitute tempo squats if I only care about the big 3.

    Deadlift 405 x 1 @ RPE 9.5; 325 x 5 @ RPE 8 x 3 sets
    TNG Bench 235 x 5 @ RPE 8.5 x 4 sets
    Front Squats 195 x 7 @ RPE 7 x 3 sets

    Deadlifts felt really heavy. Overestimated my 1 rep RPE 8. Have no real experience with Front Squats so went light. Slight knee pain on last set so called it at 3 instead of 4. Went to grab the only incline bench in the gym for DB Incline but some woman was using it for "stretching" so nixed that.

    Pause Squat 290 x 4 @ RPE 8.5 x 3 sets
    Press 120 x 7 @ RPE 8 x 4 sets (last set RPE 9)

    Getting sick, but still felt strong. No idea why my 2-count Pause Squats are so close to my training 5 x 5 Comp Squat.

    Incline Bench 175 x 8 @ RPE 8 x 4 sets (last set RPE 9)

    Sick, thought about not going but no fever so doubtful I'm contagious. Felt strong after I got warmed up.
