    Upper back day.

Chins with black band: 8 x 3. Blæh.

    One arm rows: 15 kg x 5, 20 x 5, 25 x 15, 30 kg x 10 x 3.

Or thereabouts. I don't have suitable dumbbells, so I loaded the bar in the normal way and lifted one end. I'm sure the moment arm and other stuff makes the weight wrong, but I figured if I loaded the bar to 60 kg and lifted one end that would be more or less 30 kg in the hand. Close enough.

    Rear delt rows: 30 kg x 20 x 3.

    Shrugs: 75 kg x 15 x 3.

    Nice easy day.

    Relearning the squat: BW x 10 x 4, 20 kg x 5 x 3, 40 x 3, 50 kg x 5 x 5. This was all right, no pain.

2" deficit stiff leg deads: 50 kg x 5, 75 x 3, 100 kg x 8 x 3. Not too bad. I am trying to figure out the hook grip, so I did the first two sets hooked and the last set with straps.

GPP: Legs curls, sit ups and standing calf raises.

I was very careful today because of the hamstring problems, but I didn't have any pain during the movements today. I remain carefully optimistic.

    A good day.

Hey squats are coming back! I can't imagine not squatting, sounds sad. How are the SLDLs on the hamstring?
Hook grip sucks with heavy weights, but I really like it when it doesn't hurt...

Yeah, feels good to be squatting again with no pain. Even if is only light weight so far.
I did go easy on the SLDLs as well, just to be on the safe side.

I don't know why I keep trying to learn using the hook grip. I should just use straps and be done with it. But somehow that is "too easy". Or something.

I've gotten to like the hook grip. I hardly think about it when I deadlift anymore--I'm so intimidated by the lift itself that the fear wipes out any discomfort I might feel by using the hook grip!

And I think I have smallish hands (snowflake!) so the straps allow me to pull heavier without a mixed grip. Plus, I fancy myself a weightlifter, and they all use straps for anything heavier than their clean so early can't I? [emoji1]

I'm glad to see that you're starting to become pain-free!

Like always: great job on those presses. You're overheadpressing way more than me and doing CGBP on my comp bench weights. I have to step up my game!
