I think the most I've done with hook grip is 160 kg or something like that.

Straps is good. I like straps for deads.

Like always: great job on those presses. You're overheadpressing way more than me and doing CGBP on my comp bench weights. I have to step up my game!
Thanks, so far it's good. You are squatting much more weight than me, so it evens out.

The above post needs some more, but since I can't edit ....

Was going to say, about hook grip and deads, I don't feel that I can safely hold onto the bar when it gets really heavy with the hook grip. I need to practice more.

geesh, i guess no one can edit anymore grip-wise, i find alt is more than secure enough at the moment, and i'm not lifting heavy enough to worry too much at this point about a bicep tear

Getting comfortable using all three ( alternate, hook and straps ) might be useful.

    Squat LP: BW x 10 x 4, 20 kg x 5 x 3, 40 x 5, 55 x 3, 70 kg x 5 x 5. Still no pain, I think it is getting better.

    DL: 50 kg x 5, 75 x 3, 100 x 1, 120 x 1, 141 kg x 8 x 2. Too many reps for me.
