    Beat down from a hard weekend scouting for elk above 12,000 feet. Felt a bit achy today -especially the hip flexors from having to post hike for miles in thigh deep snow.

    Hit my groove again today with strength training. Feeling like I can get my squat back up to over 300# before snowboarding starts. I’m hunkering down right now on the weekends and purposely not doing anything extracurricular.

    So this is how the other half lives.... this is my first time training without being balls deep in some kind of athletic activity in a little over one year. Feels great to show up to the gym feeling fresh and recovered.
