Hard training ride yesterday: 1500 feet of climbing. Took a hard crash that irritated my shoulder. 10 hours of sleep. Felt pretty good in the gym today. May have hit the tipping point where legs are adjusted to dealing with the lactic acid demands of a typical training ride.

Great session in the Bike yesterday for interval climbs -broke several climbing PRs set previously in September when I’m in peak Conditioning shape, 15#+ lighter and with a Backsquat hanging on around 275#. I broke these PRs at 211# Bodyweight with a squat of 325# for 2x3. Been sleeping pretty hard, too and felt reasonably recovered and strong in the gym today. Tomorrow is sustained climbing day on the hike.

So I missed Monday’s workout which is only the First missed scheduled workout in 8+ months. I was beat down hard from the weekend’s ride, got tied up with work during my mid morning workout, ended up having a work lunch that didn’t sit well on my stomach and it’s hot as shit out right now (new gym has no AC) and just didn’t feel up to the task. Short, but hard ride yesterday, back in the gym today. I HATE missing training sessions as I just “feel” weak.
