    More heavy singles. Today: heavy squat/upper back

    Squat: 360x1x3, belted, seven minutes rest. Felt okay--not a grind.

    Chins, bodyweight: 11, 10, 10, seven minutes rest.

    Single-arm dumbbell rows: 66.25x12x3, five minutes rest. I'll go up to 67.5 next week.

    Dumbbell curls with two 32.5 powerblocks: 12, 12, 10, three minutes rest. I'll try for sets of 12 across next week with the same weight, maybe a bit more rest between sets.

    Impressive as heck with the chins, Yoda. But good Lord man, 360 for three singles? Nice! In the big scheme of things, you aren't far from 405. Knock down 375 and 400 first.

    It would be great to get those numbers this year. Hope my codgerly bones can hang together for the next several months. If I get them I'll be squatting almost as much as you're benching!

    More heavy singles. Today: heavy bench/light press

    Press: 135x3x5, no belt, 90 seconds rest.

    Bench: 240x1x3, two-count pause, seven minutes rest. They all went up fairly smoothly.

    Incline dumbbell press: 140 (total) x 10x1; 140x9x2; six minutes rest. Three more total reps than last week. I'll stick with this weight until I hit 10 reps for all three sets.

    Dips with 47.5 pounds x10x2; 9x1; six minutes rest. I'll try the same weight again next week for ten reps across, maybe rest for seven minutes.
