    Comp Squat: 295x1
    Comp Bench: 265x1

That was it. Easy day in prep for the meet.

    May 27 Meet Day

Slept like shit, felt like shit. Set a 103lb meet PR (4 month gap since last meet).

    Squat attempts: 347, 369, 396
Bench attempts: 275, 292, 308 (missed 308 due to form error ARGH)
    Deadlift attempts: 429, 457, 484

Went 8/9, totaled 1172. Even though I felt like total shit, my lifts flew up. My third squat looked like a second attempt. Pretty happy with the meet overall. Except that last bench. Dammit.

And you even managed to make an appearance in the background of Alan Thrall's meet video too.

Thanks, guys! And yeah Ben, I saw that. Haha. Pretty cool. I met Alan a year ago and he's a solid dude.

    Comp Squat: 270x5x3 @7
    TnG Bench: 235x5x3 @7

Form wasn't super perfect today, but I'm coming off of a short course of Prednisone that has really fucked with my sleep. After the meet, I woke up at 5 a.m. and went to the ER because of a really bad asthma attack, hence the meds. So for 3-4 days I slept like crap and felt like crap. Got 10 hours of sleep last night and still doesn't feel like enough.

Overall, I'm glad to be back home and lifting. Looking forward to getting underway with the next training cycle.

    Whoa solid lifts! Good work.

Sorry about the asthma. :'( Mine was flaring up too, due to the fire by the Getty this weekend.

Thanks! And I bet you'll be much happier when you're fully living and settled in the bay, breathing the much better air. I never had any asthma issues when I lived in SF and Berkeley.

    June 5

    Comp Squat: 305 x [4,5,4,4,4]
    Comp Bench: 235x5x5

    Tris, bis, lats accessories.

Was supposed to do 4x5 and 5+ on squat, but I'm more detrained than I realize. Squats just felt hard. I did take a huge taper before the meet, so I need more of a restoration period before getting back into the full swing of things.

    June 8

    Comp DL: 365x3x5
    Comp Bench: 215x7x5

    Single leg leg-press, shoulder accessories.

Had to take an extra day of rest. Had DOMS and just felt tired as hell. Was supposed to DL 4x5, 5+ but I just couldn't. I'm a mess.
