BP - 260 x 3 x 9
Squat - 395 x 5 x 5
Good workout. Not terribly stressful, so I must be making some kinda progress.
BP felt solid. Kept rests between sets to 2.5 to 3 minutes. Planned on 10 sets, but ninth got heavy, so scrapped it. Is 9 sets enuf?
Squats felt good and moved well.
Thinking of adding a heavy single before heavy day volume work. It's in PPST and I see it done by many more advanced lifters.
Not sure how heavy to go. Maybe work up to a single at 90-95% 1RM. That would prime the CNS a bit. Maybe I'll try it for presses tomorrow...

Press - 160 x 6, 150 x 6 x 5
Deadlift (beltless): 385 x 5 x 3
CGBP - 215 x 6 x 3
Pullups - BW x 24 in about 10 or 12 minutes.
Misloaded press on first set. No wonder why it felt heavy. Deadlift got easier with each set. Not sure why, but I was happy about that.
Right pec kinda sore - gotta reduce volume on my triples day - a little too much stress.

DL - Work up to 440 x 5, 425 x 5
Harder workout than it should've been - yesterday at midnight had to take my son to the hospital because he couldn't breath.
Thank goodness they got it under control. He's home now, soundly sleeping.
I expected a crappy workout today because of all that stress, lack of sleep, and crap food.

Got my press volume in for the week, but felt like crap. Coming down with some kinda cold.

Bench - 235 x 5 x 7
Came down with a cold over the weekend. That's why my DL was shit on friday. I always seem to have a weak lifting day just before the symptoms come on.
Wasn't sure how heavy squats would go, but 420 moved pretty well. Had to sneeze in the middle of a squat set. But didn't - thank God.

Tired. Cold is killing me. Just want to sleep now, but this work thing keeps getting in the way.

Press - 180 x 1, 170 x 3x5, 135 x 8x2
Deadlift - 470 x 4, 440 x 4 x 2
Dips - BW x 10 x 3
Chins - BW x 4, 2 (just trying these out. Can't do em' - elbow pain)
Press sucked today. Planned on 180 for triples, but it just wasn't there - at all. I did better on Tuesday with 170 for sets of 4. I think I am tired from this cold and am now over-reaching with my presses of late.
It is time for a small deload next week on bench and press and then check my maxes next Thurs/Friday.
Deadlifts were heavy, but very doable. Felt much better than last week when I was coming down with a cold.

Press - 170 x 3 x 3
Right hip has been having pain recently. Not sure why. It has always caused me some problems, but has become worse in the last week.
Been on the road quite a bit and the driving position seems to make it worse.
Maybe in the distant future, a hip replacement? Hope not.
