Felt like shit today, Don’t know if I have a sinus infection or what( it’s that time of year here in KY) but I felt extremely fatigued for no apparent reason. Squats were hard, and I damn near missed some of the presses.

Missed the last rep of the final set of inclines, so I took my grip back to my old bench width( which is pinky lined up on the 32” score) and made it. Didn’t seem to bother the torn pec either. Guess I’m going to try to progress it like this from here on out, may explore the possibility of doing one heavy top set of 5, followed by four lighter back off sets as well. Got the Halting DL PR. Which is kind of a surprise, because usually coming off of a week after pulling a big DL PR I’m still taxed.

So my wife is tired of training in isolation in the garage, so we went to the gym today, back to my old gym, where I got started nearly a decade ago. Despite the different equipment/environment, it felt good to get out and lift around some other people I admit. I guess we may keep this up for a while if it keeps her motivated to train.
