Been playing around with a thumbs around grip on my squat. Makes the movement feel a little different, but I was starting to have trouble keeping the bar tight and stable with an open grip. Also tried keeping my head/ eye gaze straight ahead instead of looking down. I did this to see if I could better hold my back in thoracic extension, but I did notice a power leak, and felt too uptight.
