Yep, lots of empty bar. Not sure about loading a tendon rupture. The last time I trashed an ankle (4yrs ago - an entire roomfull of guys sparring heard the 2 distinct snaps of tendons giving way - I finished the fighting drill anyway, of course), the orthopod wanted full ROM and BW loading for a few weeks. Incidently, that ankle used to give some pain after squatting, which was a couple years ago, but the pain eventually went away as my squat went up. I've mis-stepped on the edge of the platform numerous times since and have been fine when in the past it would have been a 1st-2nd degree sprain.

Fucked up the warmup calculation, thinking the work sets would be 175. Probably could have ground those out but glad I stuck with +5 @ 170 as planned.
