I put 2 45s across each side of the base of the rack to hook my toes under when doing these. Since the plates hold my feet down, this allows for a little layback and that does help press heavier weights. Today, I forgot the plates and it took me two works sets to figure out why my feet wanted to keep coming off the floor. Yes, two full sets. Not 1 or 2 reps. I can be slow.
