When you do the seated press,do you use a backrest ? I find that if I don't I have a tough time using even 15lb dumbbells.

No backrest. However, I do lay 2 plates over the rack footings on each side and put my toes under them for leverage against leaning back too far.

Rowing has continued 3x weekly. Some conditioning has begun to appear, which is nice.
