I'll figure the bench out someday.

    Deep enough

    Squat: 305x5x3
    Press: 152.5x5x3
    Powerclean: 190x3x5
    Chins: 6,5,4

Need to work on synchronizing squat movement better. Improved press grip is improved.

I don't want to hear it

    Squat: 310x5x3
    Bench: 200x5x3
    Deadlift: 335x5
    Curlz: 80x8
    Weight: 239

Link: YouTube (but don't watch it!)

I was feeling under the weather, but there are no excuses. My squat form was trash. Technically, I was squatting high, but th real issue was that I had the weight too much in my heels. My bench was also trash, though I'm re-learning leg drive. My deadlift was also pretty trash; I need to warm up with my belt sooner. I'll be cutting curlz until I'm out of LP and probably out of the Texas Method. It's not like having massive gunzzzz helped my position with the women anyway. Maybe I'll luck out and find a nice girl through church once I start working. If not, I suppose being a eunich for God isn't a terrible life. That said, it's not really what I want to do and I don't think I'm one of the few people called to a lifetime of singleness. Then again, this is a fallen world and the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared to glory that is to be revealed to us. I think I'm gonna go the King David route, and petition God on the grounds that it looks bad when His people look bad. We'll see what I'm predestined to eventually, I suppose. SDG

    Getting less sicker

    Squat: 250x5x3
    Press: 155x3x5
    Chins: 6,5,5
    Weight: 239

Good news! I've added in a light-squat-Wednesday, so LP is nearing its filthy end once again! I will, however, be redoing this week's squat and deadlift weights next week due to the trash form and sickness of Monday. This Friday I'll do 305. I expect to transition to TM around 335, given that my form is better than before but I weigh 20lbs less than last time.

    Poverty bench

    Squat: 305x5x3
    Bench: 202.5x4x4
    Powerclean: 195x3x5
    Chins: 5,4,4,3
    Weight: 240

Need to make squat less mechanical and bend over more. Having trouble with leg drive on bench, thus why I did 4x4 (hint: I failed to get 5).

    1 rep short of perfection

    Squat: 310x5x3
    Press: 155x5x3
    Deadlift: 335x5
    Weight: 240

Squats are getting better. Presses were good, but I need to stay tighter. Deadlifts were going excellent, but I let my hips get high on the last rep.

    Keeping my chin ups up

    Squat: 245x5x3
    Bench: 205x5x3
    Chins: 7, 4, 5, 4
    Weight: 239

Squats are going well; just need to focus on hips and knees at same time. Glad to see chins improving.

Bench breakthrough cue: feel the weight in your feet
I've had trouble with leg drive, and I may have figured something out. If I wanted to have a weaker bench, I would lift my feet off the floor. If I want a stronger bench, which I do, I should thus un-lift my feet off the floor and have more of my weight on them. I don't think I'm rocking forward per-se, but maybe. I used to try to totally load the back so that my shoulders would stay together, but maybe relying on my brain instead of frictional force would be helpful. Obviously, there is a limit to weight on feet, as it slowly becomes an incline or overhead. Assuming some kind of negative even function.

    Moral: Don't be a wuss!
Moral 2: RPE is not for me

    Squat: 315x5x3
    Press: 157.5x5x3
    Powerclean: 200x3x5
    Weight: 239

    Link: YouTube

Squats were off: c'est la vi. Presses were awesome. I was feeling good so I thought I might skip the 5x3 and go straight to 3x5 this week. However, on rep 1 I wasn't even sure I'd get 3, but on rep 2, I knew I'd get 5 and they were all quite easy. So basically, facts don't care about my feelings. Powercleans were quesitonable, but I think I found the issue.

"You ever heard of a guy named Mark Rippetoe? ... You have a squat that would make him proud." (Debateable)

    Squat: 320x5x3
    Bench: 207.5x4,2; 205x3x3
    Deadlift: 345x5
    Weight: 239

    Link:YouTube

Too-much knee slide in squats. Improved bench midway through workout. Deadlift will be reset and increased @5lbs instead of 10.

Edit: Upon further thought and examination, I believe I will retry this weight but make sure to fix my setup.

    Walk of shame

    Squat: 265x5x3
    Press: 160x5,5,4,2
    Chins: 7,4,5,5
    Weight: 239

My last rep of the 2nd set of presses was about 10 seconds long, so I'm not super bummed about failing the last rep of the 3rd set.
