HLM Medium day. Weight 215. LM reminds me of one of the most exciting sermons I've ever heard. The message was simply this: "It's Friday but Sunday's coming." For me "It's Medium day but Heavy day is coming."

    Squat: 70 x 5; 140 x 3; 180 x 1; 191 x 5 x 2; 100 x 5 (paused)
    Press: 45 x 5; 70 x 3; 90 x 1; 98 x 3 x 1; 77 x 8 x 2 (No pain in left arm or left shoulder)
    Dead: 135 x 3; 225 x 2; 256 x 5

good for you, carson. I need to lose some weight, but I like food and hootch too much. I also have to say the heavier lifts just feel a little better now as a tub than they did 25 pounds ago.

    Thanks, Michael.

I got quite dizzy while lifting. I'm being tested by a Neurologist in consultation with my GP. This was the first time that dizziness was bad enough that I could not safely finish my lifts. Sully took my pulse three or four times before it settled down below 100 BPM. I've notified my GP. Will see what happens.

    Squat: 70 x 5; 120 x 3; 150 x 2; 180 x 1; 194 x 3 x 2
Bench: 45 x 5; 95 x 3; 130 x 3; 114 x 8 x 2. It was on my second lift of the set of 8 that I felt dizzy but I forced myself through the lifts. I sat on the bench until I felt a bit better but when I stood I had to catch myself from falling.
    No deadlifts.

I spent from 7:45 p.m. to 1:45 a.m. in the Emergency Room trying to figure out why I get so dizzy. They even examed my head but as Yogi Berra said "They found nothing." I won't be lifting again until December 2, partly because of my dizziness and partly because of a family get-together in the Chicago area.
