I'm doing new stretches for squat which seem to be showing some improvement. I can get the bar below my neck and can just barely hold onto the bar while squatting.
Squat: 70 x 5 and 120 x 3 (Pause Squat); 160 x 3; 200 x 1; 227 x 3; 204 x 3 x 2
Press: 45 x 5; 65 x 3; 85 x 2; 100 x 1; 104 x 3; 83 x 5 x 2
Dead: 135 x 3; 225 x 2; 315 x 1; 325 x 3

Are you and the Greysteel team doing the Wichita Falls Athletic Club Strength Lifting competition in January?

I do not know of anyone. Sully and his assistant Frank travel to WF at times but neither compete in USSF events. There is talk of several of us showing up in Chicago next fall and if there is an event there in April I hope to attend. How about you?

Trying to talk my brother and his son into it. Also trying to get respectable lifts. LOL. Also interested in Strength Con. Who knows.

Carson, I'm glad you aren't giving up on the LBB Squat. I love it. I did have some issues with the position when I started which I addressed with daily broom handle squats. After 6 years that is long in the past and the squat is the main lift for me. The DL bothers my knee some if I don't keep my knees pressing out hard against the inside of my elbows, so I am careful with them. That's probably why my DL is just a little heavier than my squat. I'd love to get to a 315 DL.

I may never get to the LBB Squat but may get to the High bar. I keep working on it every session and often in between sessions.
Squat: 70 x 5 (Pause Squat); 120 x 3 (Pause), x 2; 160 x 3; 205 x 1; 228 x 3; 205 x 3 x 2
Bench: 45 x 5; 95 x 5; 125 x 3; 135 x 2; 141 x 5 (new PR); 127 x 5 x 2
Dead: 135 x 3; 225 x 2; 315 x 1; 322 x 4 (Wanted 5 but I did too much breathing).
I hope to compete next April with some kind of squat and a Dead of 180 kg (396 lbs). But next fall's competition I really hope to do a respectable squat and a 185 kg. (407.6 lbs) dead. At least those are my goals.
