I must report what our friend John C did on Monday. He celebrated his 92nd birthday on Sunday. He had set a 200 lb. deadlift goal for his birthday. He lifted (drum roll) 225 lbs. He is toying with the idea of entering a competition.

Light day. Actually with the prowler it is not so light.
Squat: 70 x 5; 120 x 5; 160 x 3; 190 x 1; 210 x 5; 205 x 5; 100 x 5 x 2 (pause)
Press: 45 x 5; 65 x 3; 85 x 2; 100 x 0; 105 1; 115 x 0 x 0 x 1; 80 x 8 x 1; 7 x 1 I was gassed and out of breath with most of the work sets on both the squat and press.
Prowler; 90 x 6 x 4 I was really short of breath. I eat well, blood pressure lower than usual (134 x 74). I don't know what's going on.
