    Squat: 70 x 5; 120 x 5; 160 x 3; 210 x 2; 230 x 1; 245 x 3; 220 x 3 x 2 I have not needed to wear a knee wrap on left knee for a couple of months. I needed it today.
    Press: 45 x 5; 70 x 3; 95 x 1; 103 x 3; 82.5 x 5
    Dead: 135 x 3; 225 x 2; 315 x 1; 330 x 2 x 0 It's amazing how a relatively minor form error can mess one up.

    My beloved was able to go back to the straight bar low back squat and lifted very well.

    Bench: 45 x 5; 135 x 3; 155 x 1; 166 x 1; 177 x 1; 182 x 0 I got into a bad habit maybe because of ribs of letting the weight drop just before I forced it up. That does not work. 116 x 8
    Prowler: 100 x 6 x 4

    Dead: 135 x 3; 225 x 2; 315 x 1; 332.5 x 1; 350 x 1; 375 x 0 (It came off of the floor about an inch but that was it)

    We got back into the gym after quite a week. On Tues. evening our older son called us at 10 p.m. and begged us to come and take care of their children so he and his wife could fly to Berlin for our DiL to run in an international marathon. They had this planned for months and their children were going to stay with a neighborhood family who has small children in it. Sadly, their 5 year old was sick and they couldn't follow that plan. "When do you need us?", we asked naively. "We must leave at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday", he said. So we slept for a few hours and got up at 4 a.m. to pack and we left. We nursed the little one back to health and watched their two older sons. It was a very pleasant and rewarding visit. On Friday our DiL sister and family came by from Senegal (you read that right) with their 3 children. The trip home was something with terrible rain which added two hours before we got back home. But we made it. It's nice to be grandparents but it makes for changes in schedule from time to time.

    Squat: 70 x 5; 120 x 5; 160 x 3; 210 x 2; 246 x 1; 246 x 3; 221 x 3
    Bench: 45 x 5; 95 x 3; 135 x 1; 150 x 5; 135 x 5 x 2
    Dead: 135 x 3; 225 x 2; 315 x 1; 332.5 x 3

    The weight on the squat got into my head for some reason and couldn't finish the initial 246 lift by 3. Rested 3 minutes and did the 3.

    Not a terrible day given the stress of the previous week.

    I neglected to mention that we live near Detroit and they live on the other side of Chicago...about 320 miles each way.
