Well done. The whole crew from Greysteel was impressive.
I was very impressed with the Greysteel group. They were all inspiring.
Anyone who hasn't seen them lift in person is missing out.
When warming up for the dead lift, I jumped in at 135 and 225. Then after you did several at 330 you indicated that it was my turn. LOL.
That warm up set was 15 pounds more than my third lift, which I was red lighted on. (hitch). I guess I have a ways to go.
Thanks for taking videos.
Did you do the squat so you'd qualify for the Nationals in Texas?
Well done. The whole crew from Greysteel was impressive.
Michael, You are a very kind man. I don't know why I did the squat except I'm rebellious by nature. I'm rebelling against my shoulder limitations...or something. BTW I think the nationals have moved to Washington state. I'm not sure and will probably never get to them. I hoping that there will be another fall challenge but if they do I suspect it will be moved up to late September since the nationals have moved from January to November. I'm afraid the lowly lifters are left out of the politics of lifting. I only get information second hand. Remember what Vergil said about rumor and this is a paraphrase "Rumor flies around the world before truth can get out of the door."
Actually Michael, I hope we both have a ways to go. Keep at it and I will as well for as long as the Good Lord lets us.
And yes, it is a joy to lift with the Greysteel crowd. I wish we had the ability to lift everyday, but that's not possible.
I did a few singles at around 80% just to keep me moving.

Another light day. I was tied up trying to testify in defense of a friend who is being wrongly accused on Monday. Busy on Tuesday so I went to Anytime Fitness and did some light work out.
Walked fast for 1/2 mile on treadmill. The most boring thing I ever do.
Squat with straight bar. 45 x 5; 95 x 3
Press: 45 x 5; 70 x 3; 95 x 2; 105 x 2
Dead: 135 x 3; 225 x 2; 315 x 2. I used liquid chalk for the first time. It worked.
I'm going to get me some of that liquid chalk for traveling.
Light day to reintroduce me to the regime.
Squat: 70 x 5; 160 x 3; 200 x 1; 222.5 x 5 x 2; 125 x 5 x 2 (paused)
Bench: 45 x 5; 95 x 3; 135 x 1; 167 x 1; 182 x 1 (PR) Maybe I will reach 200 someday.
Prowler: 100 lbs x 6 x 4
Surprisingly the 182 went up fairly easily.
Well done Carson with the pr in bench.

What a terrible snow today and so early. When we left for the gym around 10:15 we had about 4 inches. When we got ready to return we were faced with 7" and it was still snowing.
