Christ is Baptized! In the Jordan!
Today is Theophany. The priests bless the waters. I was Chrismated 20 years ago, and I got back to lifting after several days of coughing.
It was a day of Diagnostic lifting. I went as far as I thought I could and then went to another lift. No PRs today.
Squat: 70 x 5 (paused); 120 x 3; 160 x 2; 190 x 1; 210 x 3 x 3
Press: 45 x 5; 75 x 3; 95 x 1; 100 x 3 x 3
Dead: 135 x 3; 225 x 2; 315 x 3 I began coughing a little so I put on a mask to protect the other lifters.
But, I made it.

I'm still moving up after illness. Except for Press I think I could have lifted more. I guess that's better than failing.
Squat: 70 x 5 (paused); 160 x 3; 210 x 2; 225 x 1; 242.5 x 1; 217.5 x 3 x 2
Press: 45 x 5; 75 x 3; 95 x 1; 107.5 x 3 x 3
Dead: 135 x 3; 225 x 2; 315 x 1; 327,5 x 3; 302.5 x 3
I'm also back.

Light day. Furnace was out and had to rely on space heaters which blocked the Prowler track. So, a very light day.

Bench: 45 x 5; 95 x 3; 135 x 2; 145 x 1; 155 x 1; 108 x 8 x 3

I think I learned a great deal on Friday and Saturday. Sully had said that "there becomes an age when maintenance become gains" On Friday I was struggling a bit of dizziness on all three lifts. I made a near pr in the squat and the Bench. I was loading the Dead and again was a little dizzy, I just kept working. I began to load 315 for my last warm-up and was again a bit dizzy and in addition I felt a tightness in my chest that I had never experienced before. I told Sully. He said "pack up and go to the emergency room now." So I did. All the tests were in the normal range but the Doctor in charge explained that while he admired my accomplishments and wants to get involved himself "Your strength is stronger than your heart. I don't wish you to stop lifting. I do want you to takes more rest before each heavy lift and do more cardio. Don't worry about making 405 on the dead or you will find yourself in the emergency room over and over again, until..." He did not need to finish the sentence. I knew what he meant. I love lifting an I will continue to do it but with a bit more caution.
Don't worry Michael I'm still shooting for 375 but it may take a while to do it.
Squat: 70 x 5; 160 x 3; 210 x 1; 245 x 3; 220 x 3
Bench: 45 x 5; 95 x 3; 135 x 1; 153 x 4 (I was supposed to do 1 but my math isn't so good under the bar); 137 x 5 x 2
Dead: 135 x 3; 225 x 2
