Your weakened back is probably from not lifting heaving things for so long. You started back younger than when I started for the first time. It gets better as you keep at it. After nearly 8 years I hate to miss a session.

Thanks for the encouragement Carson. The squats are getting better every workout. I too do not want to miss a session. With the two workout per week plan it's pretty flexible to move days around.

I missed Monday because of some garage remodel. Good to be back in the gym.

    Squat: 70 x 5 (pause); 160 x 3; 190 x 1; 204 x 2 x 2
    Bench: 45 x 5; 95 x 3; 135 x 1; 147 x 5; 116 x 8
    Dead: 135 x 5; 225 x 2; 275 x 5

An easy day. I think next Monday is a heavy day. I'm looking forward to it.

Good workout Carson. I wondered if you were skipping a week for some reason. Still chasing you on squats and deads.

I wish we had a two car garage so I could put a gym in it. Since we only have a single car garage we are trying to make it pretty. We had a company put in a great new floor and then we will put in solid cabinets. But there really isn't room for racks and such or maybe...

There is never enough room in a garage for most people. Power rack and a lifting platform would be nice,

Heavy Day. I still have not reached the level of March but I keep working at it.

    Squat: 70 x 5 (pause); 160 x 3; 200 x 1; 215 x 1; 195 x 3 x 3 (My single PR is 267.5)
    Press: 45 x 5; 75 x 3; 100 x 1; 107 x 1; 107 x 1; 85 x 5 x 2 Abject failure on Press. (My single pr is 128)
    Dead: 135 x 3; 225 x 2; 315 x 1; 345 x 1 (My single PR is 375)
I'm beginning to wonder if I will ever have another PR.

Another PR or not keep it up. You are stronger than many your age and younger.

I will keep it up. Maybe I will get some more PRs after the first of the year.
