I'm sure you read Ripps piece on training logs. I see that he does one lift every few.days.

Grats!!!! You are well positioned. My goal is to be in a similar place when I achieve 74 years. I have a long way to go to achieve this.
Also, 30 minute timed naps. Quite your mind and focus on breathing. Not a bad way to go to sleep either.

It is all about recovery from your lifts.

Sully's comment upon seeing the report from my emergency room stay: "I see that you have the body and heart of a 35 year old man but shouldn't lift because you are too old." (I've paraphrased it for several reasons.) I saw my GP whose comment about the implied comment that I was too old to lift as I was lifting was "bullshit" and that's the strongest word I've ever heard him say. Moreover, he said, "I've never known a man your age who can lift what you do."

After Sully's comment I went about doing my lifts. (I was careful to take a little extra rest time between the top lifts but did my lifts without any extra difficulty.)

    Squat: 70 x 5 (paused); 160 x 3; 190 x 1; 220 x 5 x 2 (Full depth is getting more consistent.)
    Press: 45 x 5; 75 x 3; 95 x 2; 110 x 1; 121 x 0 x 1; 85 x 8 x 3 (After nearly 7 years I'm getting better at the technique. I do admit that for some things I am a slow learner.)

    Onward and upward.

I guess the ER docs are afraid of lawsuits.

I'd love to have been there to hear the original. I'm guessing it was pretty colorful.

Yes it was much better than my paraphrase.
