    The next Medium day is Friday. I get to chase singles on Deadlift. My favorite day.

    Medium Day. No Prs today. To get another PR on Dead I must wait a week and a half. I will not give up. 385 here I come.

    Every session is a mixture of satisfaction, even delight, and disappointment. This heavy day was another example.

    Squat: 70 x 5 (pause); 160 x 3; 210 x 2; 230 x 1; 252.5 x 1; 227 x 4 x 1; 3 x 1
    Bench: 45 x 5; 95 x 3; 135 x 1; 155 x 5; 140 x 5 x 2
    Dead: 135 x 3; 225 x 2; 315 x 1; 335 x 3; 300 x 5 The disappointment was not doing 350 x 3. I did 345 x 3 over a year ago.

    Next Monday is my next try at 385 x 1. We will see.

    Light Day. What a strange period we are going through. There are no guarantees in life. If I have a light cough I think "is this a sign"? My wife and I work hard to keep the gym clean and stocked with disinfectant wipes, antiseptic liquid, paper towels, tissue, etc. So far all is good.

    Press: 45 x 5; 75 x 3; 100 x 1; 115 x 1; 123 x 0; 86 x 8 x 2

    We are all asked to wash our hands at least 5 times per session and wipe down equipment including benches.

    Sadly, the gym is closed for at least two weeks. Chris and I are effectively in quarantine. I guess that's best for old farts. We had planned on being with grandchildren this week and during the first week of April. But that's gone.

    I imagine it's is close to the same for everyone. This too shall pass.

    This sure is something I never imagined a few weeks ago. I had a trip to Arz., the Grand Canyon, Colorado and Oregon planned for April with my brother, we are cancelling.
