I'm going to keep this and look at it when I feel I need something to get out to my garage and do my workout.
He is now 94 and still does "lifts" in his room at the retirement center. Coach Sully keeps in regular touch with him and I call him from time to time. He is one amazing man. Being confined to a room with meals delivered is no fun. Still he has children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and probably great great grandchildren, some of whom take him out on a weekly basis. He hasn't been in the clinic since mid March. Whenever he communicates either by phone or through fb he is in good spirits and is a voracious reader. I cannot imagine how I would be should I live to be his age. He is old enough to be my father. Whenever I'm tempted to complaint or think I can't do this or that I remember him and get on with life. One of his often repeated slogans is "Onward and Upward." His lifting routine includes suggestions made by Sully. He has some kettle bells and dumbbells. He does forms of squats, deads, and curls. He aso does some modified bench/OHP as well.
Light day of HLM
Squat: 70 x 5 (paused); 160 x 3; 190 x 1; 195 x 5 x 2; 105 x 5 (paused)
Bench: 45 x 5; 95 x 3; 135 x 1; 156 x 1; 162 x 1; 116 x 8 I had plenty in the tank. If not for time constraints I might have done a PR of above 185. Damned Covid.
Prowler: 55 lbs x 300 feet x 2
I think I will buy my neighbor's condo and put a home gym in it. Not really but I don't have room for a home gym. I wish I did.
Many gyms have closed down probably forever through this mess. Sully confides that Greysteel has lost a good deal of money since this interference and warns that unless things change we will be under stricter rules.
Frankly, I don't see how we can get any stricter and still function. We shall see.
