Sorry to hear about that, you will be back as sure as the sun goes up in the east. Have you tried tooth guard. I have just ordered a piece. I noticed I bite together during deadlift, got kind of sore yesterday. Felt like a uppcoming toothache, today it was gone. Any thoughts about that?

I wouldn't put it past myself to grind my teeth but mostly while sleeping. This was another molar on my left side. Maybe someone hits me there and I'm not aware of it, but I only have two molars on my uppers on the left side. I probably could use a tooth guard at night.

I should think a tooth guard for when you are lifting might help.

    Movin' on up.

    Squat: 70 x 5 (paused); 120 x 3; 160 x 1; 192.5 x 3; 167.5 x 5; 100 x 5 (paused)
    Press: 45 x 5; 65 x 1; 70 x 5 x 3
    Dead: 135 x 3; 225 x 2; 295 x 1; 310 x 1; 255 x 3

I some times fall into a habit for shifting my weight back while lifting which makes the lift harder than it needs to be. Shifting ones weight before one lifts is what needs to happen. I fell into the habit during my 295 lift and while I got it up it was harder than it needed to be. So, I focused and the 310 lift flew up.

After 8 years I'm still surprised that minor adjustments are quite important.

    Onward and upward.

    Squat: 70 x 5 (pause); 160 x 3; 190 x 1; 197.5 x 3; 172.5 x 5
    Press: 45 x 5; 65 x 3; 72 x 5 x 2
    Dead: 135 x 3; 225 x 2; 295 x 1; 320 x 1; 265 x 3

Still all well within my comfort zone. When I get close to 375 x 1, my present pr I suspect I will need to break out the ammonia and some wild music like Scheherazade, by Rimsky-Korsakov.

Scheherazade does not strike me as Deadlifting music... maybe its just me.

Shoot. Sully has come in contact with someone who tested positive for Covid so he is in voluntary quarantine. We won't be back in the gym until after Easter. I guess I will have to go to a gym and lift on my own for a few sessions. I think I can sneak some chalk in. We will see.
