HLM Heavy Day:
Squat: 70 x 5 (paused); 160 x 3; 205 x 1; 225 x 1; 202.5 x 2 x 2
Bench: 45 x 5; 95 x 3; 125 x 2; 137.5 x 1; 145 x 3; 130 x 5 x 2
Dead: 135 x 3; 225 x 2; 300 x 1; 325 x 1; 267.5 x 3 Easier than expected.
Another Good day, despite that it was a light day:
Squat: 70 x 5 (paused); 120 x 3; 160 x 1; 185 x 1; 202.5 x 5 x 2; 100 x 5 (paused)
Press: 45 x 5; 65 x 3; 85 x 1; 90 x 1; 100 x 1; 102.5 x 1; 63 x 8 x 2 The highest weight I've lifted since Pandemic.
Prowler: 45 x 6 x 2
The Press is still a work in progress for me. I've lifted 128 because, I guess, I got the form right quite by accident. I have never replicated that lift since. I think I'm moving toward it. I know I make it more complicated than necessary and so usually wind up with a moment arm that cannot be overcome. I will continue practicing it and hope to get it right before the end of the year. If I can I should be able to do 2 plates (135 lbs).
After a very enjoyable few days in Williamsburg, Va. we are back at the lifts.
Squat: 70 x 5 (paused); 160 x 3; 200 x 1; 227 x 1; 205 x 5 x 2
Press: 45 x 5; 65 x 3; 85 x 1; 100 x 1; 80 x 5 x 2
Dead: 135 x 3; 225 x 2; 300 x 1; 325 x 1; 260 x 5
U da Man.
