What a strange 16 months. But every time we're knocked down we get back up and keep lifting. Electricity out for five days where we live. AC out at the gym. Miss more sessions than made. Losing ground then making much of it up.

    Squat: 70 x 5 (pause); 120 x 6; 165 x 1; 165 x 5 x 3
    Bench: 45 x 5; 95 x 3; 120 x 1; 130 x 5 x 3
    Dead: 135 x 3; 225 x 2; 280 x 5

    It's good to lift.

A/C is out and will be for another couple of weeks. But it wasn't terribly hot.

    Squat: 70 x 5 (pause); 120 x 5; 160 x 1; 170 x 5 x 3
    Press: 45 x 5; 65 x 3; 85 x 1; 87.5 x 5 x 2; 4 x 1 (My technique is still not perfect).
    Dead: 135 x 3; 225 x 2; 300 x 1; 320 x 1; 285 x 5 (Easier than I had imagined).

Character is forged in the fires of adversity.
My view is that setbacks are inevitable... lifting is the cure.

I certainly agree. We missed last session because Sully was installing a temporary a/c which makes the room tolerable but still too warm. It was good to be back in the gym.

My bench isn't coming back as quickly as I'd like but I am making gains.

    Squat: 70 x 5 (paused); 120 x 3; 160 x 1; 172.5 x 5 x 3
    Bench: 45 x 5; 95 x 3; 125 x 2; 130 x 1; 135 x 5 x 2; 3 x 1
    Dead: 135 x 3; 225 x 2; 287.5 x 5
