My gym added a Marrs Bar last summer and I tried it for a month or so. It was made to simulate the low bar squat as the bar sits much lower on the back. I had some initial balance issues with it similar to what you described with your new bar, which is why I asked.
The way its cambered wants to pitch you forward a bit so it took some getting used to. I worked out the balance problem, but had difficulty achieving proper depth -- as I have with any low bar squat..Perhaps my long legs thing. I’ve gone back to using the other Safety Squat bars where I get good depth consistently.

The information shows a fellow squatting without using his hands. Do you do that? The Rogue bar looks the same as the one you linked. Why do you believe that the Elite bar is better than the Rogue bar?

I love live competitions. Competitions online are like kissing one's sister through a paper tissue. It's not worth the effort. I wish some were planned for this fall. I wish also that safety bars could be used for squatting. I might actually get a stuffed animal prize. Who knows.

My gym is mostly competitive powerlifters. There are lots of live competitions available. Check the USPA and USA-PL websites. Easy to join these federations and compete. There are often “push-pull” (Bench and Deadlift) categories within some events for lifters unable to squat within the rules.

My first competition was on March 1, 2014, for the APA.CarsonAPA2014 - YouTube. The rest were done through the SS or its successor organization.
