    Bench 45x5 85x5,5,5

    Squat 45x3 160x3,3,3

Carson: just hanging from a pull up bar is good for starters. Good luck!

I will try that hanging routine tomorrow while we clean the gym.

Heavy day, did I ever tell you I prefer heavy days?

    Squat: 70 x 5; 140 x 3 180 x 2; 200 x 1; 217.5 x 1; 187 x 3 x 2 Quite successful.
    Press: 45 x 5; 70 x 3; 95 x 1; 102 x 1; 87 x 5 x 2 (If in competition I would not avoided a red light or two)
    Dead: 135 x 3; 225 x 2; 300 x 1; 317.5 x 1; 260 x 3 (Fairly easy. My form is finally coming back.)

My friends in the gym say I'm getting back my "athletic arrogance." I agree.

Excellent! There's little worse than walking into a workout without confidence in how you'll lift that day.

I fully agree. I haven't been the same since the lockdown. (I don't believe it was a medical pandemic so much as a political lockdown.) Sully said, stop being afraid. Command that bar. So I did and except for the press, I won.

BTW the phrase "athletic arrogance" came from Joe Gibbs who won three super bowls with three different quarterbacks while leading the Washington Redskins.

HLM Light Day. On light days it's hard to tell when my "athletic arrogance" is intact.

    Squat:70 x 5; 120 x 3; 150 x 2; 166 x 5 x 2; 100 x 5 (paused)
    Bench: 45 x 5; 95 x 3; 135 x 1; 155 x 1; 162.5 x 1; 115 x 8 x 2
    Prowler: 65 x 4 x 3

Ahhh, but confidently engaging in your light days means that your athletic arrogance is shining through as you embrace the process.
