    Greetings:

I have been working with Coach Schudt for a while, but I have decided to join the cool kids and post my logs here. For posterior’s sake.

I work out in my kitchen. And seeing as how I use black iron plates to lift with and black iron pans to cook on, it is officially a Black Iron Kitchen-Gym.

    Here are my particulars:

    Sex: Male
    Age: 48
    Height: 5' 7" (in heels)
    Weight: 218
    Waist: 39"

    Current PR's:

    Squat: 340 x5
    Bench: 265 x5
    Press: 175 x5
    Deadlift: 285 x5

    Current Goals:

    Squat: 350 x5
    Bench: 275 x5
    Press: 200 x5
    Deadlift: 300 x5

    WOD: Trippin' On Tryptophan

    Squat: 345 x5 x1

    RDL: 200 x5 x3

I have a pain in the left shoulder and the squat bar sits right on top of it, so it throws my squat game off a little bit.

    PR:
    Squat: 345 x5

    Welcome. I'm new here too.

If this is a pun about posterior chains, I fully support it.

This is also nicely done. I likes me my cast iron pans too.

If you don't mind me asking, what's the story with your deadlift? (Since usually deadlifts track heavier than squats)

    Greetings:

I had a lot of issues that Coach Schudt and I needed to work through. I actually started my NLP with a broomstick. Among my deadlift problems were when I started I could not bend over and reach the bar (I could barely reach the top of a bumper plate) and I could not breathe while bent over (I still cannot wear a belt while deadlifting unless I want to do the entire set on one breathe). The main problem with the deadlift was my lower back, but I think we have that sorted out and the deadlift numbers should be going up soon.

WOD: Beginning To Look A Lot Like Syphilis

    Press: 180 x5 x1

    Bench: 250 x5 x4

    Pull Ups: 3, 3, 3, 3

Finally got my 180. Onward and upwards.

    PR:

    Press: 180 x5

    WOD: Road Movie To Berlin

    Squat: 315 x5 x4

    Deadlift: 285 x5 x1

Coach Schudt had me face the wall while I squatted so he could see my shoulder in the video. Man that is claustrophobic. And as fate would have it, my shoulder barely hurt.

Deadlift felt really good. Matched my PR.

    WOD: Sir Richard Pumpaloaf

    Bench: 265 x5 x1

    Press: 170 x5 x4

Stomach bug going around. Hit me during the press. Hard to hold your stomach in a valsalva when you are more concerned with holding your stomach contents in.

    WOD: Slap Chop

    Squat: 360 x4 x1

    RDL: 210 x5 x3

Bar shifted during the fourth rep and my right knee started to hurt. I was hoping to do the SSOC competition this Saturday, so I only did four reps. Of course I felt fine by the time I was doing my RDL's.

    PR: Squat: 360 x4
